By using FromX.app you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: you paste a link to public content on X, and we give you files of it.
The service
FromX.app downloads videos, GIFs, photos, audio, recorded Spaces, profile pictures and headers from public content on X. It works only with what X shows to anyone who is not signed in, and it never signs in to X on your behalf.
FromX.app is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. X and Twitter are trademarks of X Corp.
Your responsibility
Content on X belongs to the people who posted it. Download it for personal use, or with the permission of the rights holder, and respect copyright and the privacy of the people shown. You are responsible for how you use what you download.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to overload it, to automate downloads at scale, to get around its limits or checks, or for anything unlawful. We may block access that looks like abuse.
Copyright requests
We do not host content: files are fetched from X on request and deleted within hours. If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, write to us at the address on the Contact page and we will look into it promptly.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, free of charge. X can change or restrict access to its content at any time, so we cannot promise that every link will work or that the service will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or of files you download with it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
